A Barrel Vault

  • composed of 14 4’x4’ Pallets at its Base

  • 20” PVC Pipes forming the Arched Structure Bubble Wrap as its skin

  • Hollow PVC Tubes are wired for lighting

  • Galvanized pipes imbedded in the pallets provide radiant heating & cooling

  • Beneath the Pallets are I-beams & above them ½” plywood sub-floor

CREATING SACRED SPACE
in CALISTOGA

The remodel of an existing restaurant creates a communal healing environment.

This project was undertaken in order to address the crisis in American society. It is a prototype for sustainable living, in which the natural environment, community, family and the spiritual are addressed as integral parts of the whole.
